In our latest Pipercross YouTube video, we take Ehren, one of our marketers, from behind the camera to learn how to fit a Pipercross PK370 induction kit on a Volkswagen Mk6 Golf GTI. Not only does this make for some funny moments but also gives you all at home a great insight into how and why you should fit an intake kit to your own car.
Why install an aftermarket induction kit?
Upgrading to an aftermarket induction kit has several advantagess:

- Open cone air filter
- Silicone hoses

Tool's you'll need
Before getting started, make sure you have:
- Constant tension clamp remover
- T20, T25, and T30 Torx
- Phillips head screwdriver
- 7mm and 10mm sockets
- Ratchet
Step-by-step installation guide
- Unbox the Pipercross PK370 induction kit - Check that all the products are there!
- Read the instructions - It may seem obvious, but understanding the steps before starting will save you time and effort.
- Remove the OEM intake system - Start by taking off the duct intake, airbox, back pipe, and MAF sensor.
- Assemble and install the Pipercross heatshield - Secure it in place using the provided brackets.
- Fit the turbo inlet silicone hose - Ensure it is seated properly to avoid any leaks.
- Install the new back pipe - This replaces the restrictive OEM part with a more efficient design.
- Reconnect the MAF sensor and air filter - The sensor must be installed correctly to avoid engine light issues.
- Double check everything - Ensure all clamps, bolts, and connections are tight and secure. Reinstall the engine cover.
- Start you engine and enjoy the sound - Listen to the difference your new induction kit makes!
